Ok current theories

1. Hunter and belos are both clones of Phillip, and Phillip has been body hopping Elias Magnusarchives style

2. Phillip is Belos, but his body is corrupted due to the mud curse and Hunter is a clone that he’s going to body hop into to go to the human world

3. Hunter is a grimwalker and belos needs a grimwalker to complete the unity ritual (sort of a sacrifice)

4. Hunter isn’t a clone, and is actually related to Phillip, but belos is considering making a clone of him as he knows Hunter is straying from the coven and he needs the golden guard for varying levels of evil reasons (this one seems less likely but I am curious as to why the emperor seemed to be collecting/attempting to collect the ingredients for a grimwalker if hunter already exists)

5. Same as 4 but Hunter is still a grimwalker and the reason belos said it’d be too hard to find a replacement is because he didn’t get the materials.
